Print Parade

Solar Plates or Linocuts Small Workshops with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings & afternoons.
5-10 explorers in each 3-hour session for fun, educational, and very productive workshops! All that is needed is a creative spirit, the desire to be open to learning a new technique, and the willingness to collaborate alongside other artists. Printmaking experience is not essential.

Solarplate
Revolutionary printmaking using sunlight & water to etch & reproduce images that traditionally are created with lithographic stones, copper plates, and wood. Solar plates do not use acids, hazardous materials, or chemicals in other printmaking methods and are environmentally friendly.
Linoleum Relief
Henri Matisse & Pablo Picasso used linoleum in the early 1900s. The popularity grew in the 20th century German Expressionists & Russian Constructivists. Images are cut from a sheet of linoleum. The surface is inked, paper is placed on top & printed either by rubbing manually with a spoon or similar tool or on a printing press.
Exhibition
Class artists will have the option to exhibit Print Parade Exhibition with an Opening Reception
for friends, families, and the general artist community.
