Pop-up Art Workshops for Children
Pinellas County’s Thriving Artistic & Cultural Venues of
Museums, Galleries, Art Organizations & Studios Libraries, Parks, & Gardens
ART EXPLORATIONS
essential for academic success
Our goal is to create rotating workshops within the Pinellas art community to inspire creativity &
knowledge about art with small workshops for children. We aim to create hands-on experiences in various media,
materials & techniques while learning about their connection to various artists & art movements.
-
Children are naturally curious. Self-directed teaching methods are used in these workshops to help children discover their own goals and explore their interests.
-
These are safe spaces for children to be fully engaged in learning ways that build on their strengths.
-
The art workshops provide opportunities for improvement of social, emotional & cognitive skills.
-
Workshops explore artists, art history, art fundamentals & art principles, while providing hands-on techniques in a variety of creative media.
-
Parents can be assured that their children are receiving quality art education.
-
Workshops can fill the education gap for homeschoolers, and the budget gaps in K-12 art education.
